RESPECTABILITY
RespectAbility is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that understands we are a stronger community when we live up to our values – when we are welcoming, diverse, moral and respect one another. We work with entertainment, policy makers, educators, self-advocates, nonprofits, employers, faith-based organizations, philanthropists, journalists and online media to fight stigmas and advance opportunities for people with disabilities.
GLOBAL DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION
The Global Down Syndrome Foundation is a public non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down syndrome through Research, Medical care, Education and Advocacy. Formally established in 2009, the Foundation's primary focus is to support the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome, the first academic home in the United States committed solely to research and medical care for people with Down syndrome. Since Down syndrome is the least-funded genetic condition in the United States, fundraising and government advocacy to correct the alarming disparity of national funding for people with Down syndrome is a major goal.
NATIONAL DOWN SYNDROME CONGRESS
The National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) is a membership-sustained not-for-profit organization dedicated to an improved world for individuals with Down syndrome. Founded in 1973, we are the leading national resource of support and information for anyone touched by or seeking to learn about Down syndrome, from the moment of a prenatal diagnosis through adulthood.
RAD CAMP
Our mission is RAD – Rising Above Disabilities! We offer awesome programs and camps for adults and children with developmental disabilities, much-deserved respite for their caregivers and a life-changing volunteer experience for the local community.
DOWN SYNDROME DIAGNOSIS NETWORK
The mission of Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN) is to connect, support and provide accurate information to families with a Down syndrome diagnosis. Our vision is that all parents that receive a new diagnosis are provided with accurate, current information through their medical providers every time.
