Billy Bob’s house is so filled with toys and games, puzzles, cars, dolls and stuffed animals that he can no longer maneuver through the paths. The hoard has strained relationships with his children and his wife. In declining health, Billy Bob must now part with his collections or become a prisoner in his own home. From the outside Jean’s house blends perfectly with her upscale Beverly Hills neighbors. But inside, she and her husband are raising their 8-year-old granddaughter in a hoarded mess. Concerned for the girl’s well being, Jean’s sister has threatened to call Child Protective Services if the home is not cleaned up immediately.
