Josh and Michelle’s peaceful two-bedroom condo is tucked away in a quiet complex. It’s got hardwood floors, a swimming pool right outside the door, and it’s just a few minutes from downtown San Diego. With a playful dog and a baby on the way, they’re going to need more space, so why doesn’t anyone want to call this place home? Well, for starters, this unit isn’t exactly getting as much of that famous San Diego sunshine as it could be. And then there’s the attack screen door, pet odor, outdated walls, too much furniture and clutter. First thing to go, the oversized fish tank, that hadn’t seen any fish for a while! Roger’s got a beach theme in mind to counteract the dungeon feel. Soon, the walls get fresh coats of lively blue paint, with a soothing sandy color below the chair rail in the living room, and the furniture is pared down to a manageable assortment.
