Keith Pallesen
Rookie COOriginally from Minnesota, Keith has finally fulfilled a lifelong dream of working in law enforcement. After more than a decade toiling in the work force as a truck driver, fast food employee and factory worker, he joined the NMCD’s mentorship program in November 2014.
Keith graduated from the training academy with honors before being assigned to the state’s super-max security prison as an “Advance Placement Escort.” On a daily basis, this rookie is responsible for moving some of the system’s most dangerous and unstable inmates, a job more commonly reserved for seasoned officers.
Keith is a consummate professional who hopes to one day climb the ranks all the way to Warden. While his superior officers have already taken notice of his discipline and courtesy, they also recognize that he still has a lot of basics to learn.
