Matthew Harger, a K-9 officer from California, has come in to get a tattoo tribute to his dog, Thor.
Robbie, a big fan of dogs himself, gets to work transferring the design from paper to skin.
Matthew tells Robbie how he started training Thor as a puppy.
Thor's tribute is coming along nicely.
Robbie listens as Matthew tells him about the night he and Thor were searching a home for a burglar, and Thor was shot.
Happily, while Thor was injured, he quickly recovered and went on to work for several more years (capturing two murderers!) before retiring to be a house dog. This tattoo incorporates Thor's footprint.
A closer look at Matthew's tribute to Thor.
Rich preps his client, Dennis Eddy, a police supervisor, who wants to commemorate eight fallen officers from his department.
Dennis recalls the night he was shot on the job.
Rich, a retired New York City police officer himself, listens as Dennis recounts being shot in the chest and leg.
The weeping angel in Dennis' tattoo holds eight blue roses, one for each of the fallen officers he is commemorating.
The completed tattoo with color.

Janice Danger places a stencil on Ryan Hickey, a former state trooper from New Hampshire, who was struck by a car and almost killed while making an arrest on the highway.
Ryan is getting a tattoo of a St. Michael Crest. "St. Michael became the patron saint of first responders," Ryan says.
Ryan tells Janice about the night he was hit by a car. His numerous injuries included a fractured spine, protruding rib, and much more.
Sadly, the severity of Ryan's injuries forced him into medical retirement.
"My call to service is still there, is still strong," Ryan says as his tattoo takes shape. He has started taking a Master's program in Homeland Security.
Ryan loves his finalized tattoo. "Now that I have it on my skin," he says, "it's part of the healing process."
