Corey

Season 9

After watching his family members get caught in the system of incarceration, Corey is eager to understand the psychology of the revolving door of jail. As someone who broke the generational cycle, Corey doesn’t understand why others can’t do the same. Growing up in the inner city, Corey’s mother worked hard to protect him and his siblings from the drugs, gangs and violence of the streets. When he turned 18, Corey left city life for the great outdoors. Struck by wanderlust, he’s spent the past several years traveling the country, taking up seasonal jobs at national parks and ski resorts. Corey has never been to jail and began watching 60 Days In during high school. He’s waited eight years to prove that he can survive behind bars just as well as the big, strong, tough guys who often sign up for the program.
